The PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations (Regulatory compliance specialisation) course takes participants through the full investigation process starting with the receipt of an initial complaint through to final prosecution. Participants will become specialised in regulatory compliance.

  • The course comprises 8 days of mandatory personal attendance for course content, assessment development and formal presentations and will be delivered in LGAQ’s nominated venue over a period of approximately six months (dependent on dates available, public holidays etc).
  • 15 national competency units to achieve full qualification.
  • On Day 1, participants will be provided with training and assessment materials, course guidelines, reference materials, websites and assessment tips. (Please note course attendance dates are confirmed in writing to you prior to commencement of the course).
  • Days 1 – 8 will consist of formal presentations, course content, discussions and learning activities and assessments for all participants.
  • The final day (Day 8) will include assessment discussions to ensure all participants have completed the requirements. Final completion of the course will be subject to the assessor ensuring that all components of competency have been met. 


Our standard structure for this course is 8 full days spread over 3 months and can be delivered in any metropolitan or regional area of Queensland.
